The questions you may ask
Q1 : What ages is this appropriate for?
A1 : The questions in the Christian Pack are purposefully designed by Bible & communication experts to be appropriate for ages 5 and up. However, we recommend that grown ups moderate the questions to avoid confusing, confronting or unfamiliar topics.
Q2 : How Bible-based are the prompts?
A2 : The majority of prompts are open-ended questions for discussion. The 'Bible Truths' category is a version of structured questions and answers from the Westminster Shorter Catechism (lightly reworded to be understood by children, no content change)
Q3 : Will Children want to participate with this? I'm worried they might think it's a bit silly and not want to engage...
A3 : Children will respond to the enthusiasm levels of the adults around them. When you lead with excitement and are intentional about setting up the activity, you’ll often find that kids won’t want to put the cards away!
Q4 : Are the questions specific to a denomination? Is it Catholic-friendly?
A4 : The prompts themselves are non-denominational, designed to initiate meaningful conversation. While the 'Bible Truths' category is a version of a protestant Catechism , the pack can be used by Catholics, Orthodox & other Bible-believing denominations.
Q5 : Are there 'right' answers to these questions?
A5 : The majority of prompts are questions, designed to open conversation, not close it with a 'right or wrong' answer. The 'Bible Truths' category has set questions, answers and scripture references based on the Westminster Shorter Catechism.
